In India it is commonly known as stone pitching or stone skipping. It is my all time favorite game, there is a small village near my home where there is a big pond. It’s little far and cycling to the pond is amazing and more amazing thing is pitching stones in that river with my friends. No one spots us, if they spot us we will escape soon.

Mostly flat stones pitch more easily and travel more far in the water, but the problem here is there are less stones near the river and every time we should search for stones. It makes me happy and gives some type of good energy. Last time when I went to my native, I did this nearly 50 times, each time we would go and search for stones, then we ran to reach the river. It’s quite amazing.

My cousin brother who is a science student knows a lot and can pitch stones more that 20 times and even it forms a curve, when I first saw this, I was like OMG how is this even possible, then he taught me the tricks in which I dint understand anything but I observed his posture then tried and I succeeded.

I was just watching random videos on Youtube and I saw a wonderful mind blowing video, I never knew that people took such activities seriously. Kurt Steiner is the world record holder for the maximum skips of a stone. He is a expert stone skipper and also a expert stone picker. Stones are the most important thing in stone skipping. Their size and shape matters a lot.

He skipped the stone 88 times and is the current world record holder for stone skipping. Have you ever tried stone skipping? comment down and that’s it for today hope you all enjoyed. Thank you all for reading, sharing, commenting, clapping, following and subscribing. Be safe and take care, meet you all in the next blog till then peace out!!! (:
